Antony Tudor objected to the use of program notes for his ballets. He felt that telling the audience what they
were going to see in advance of a performance would influence their reaction to the piece.
While The Antony Tudor Ballet Trust respects Mr. Tudor's position on the issue, we also have been charged with
the task of preserving his works and meeting the demands of modern companies. Therefore, the Trust has approved
the following notes/synopsis' attached to the information pages of the ballets.
